SUMMERTON – Ronnie Alfonso Haselden, 66, died Sunday, July 28, 2019, at his home.
Born March 7, 1953, in Hemingway, he was a son of the late Alfonso Haselden and the late Lila Jane Parker Haselden. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired maintenance supervisor for Camp Bob Cooper.
He is survived by two grandchildren, Sara Miles Mitchum and Summer Anne Miles, both of Kingstree; two great grandchildren, Savannah Haase and John Mitchum, both of Kingstree; and siblings, Carolyn Baxley (Ronnie) of Johnsonville, Wanda Filyaw (Bobby) of Hemingway, Lynn DeVincentis (David) of Myrtle Beach, Charles Haselden (Sandy) of Chaffee, New York, Darlene Ward of Myrtle Beach, Donald Haselden of Timmonsville and Valarie Garcia of Conway.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Simone Anne Miles.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at New Vision Free Will Baptist Church, 2616 State Highway 41/51, Hemingway, SC 29554.
