MANNING - Lois Jane Rogers Spigner, 76, wife of Robert Lee "Bob" Spigner Sr. died Monday, September 12, 2011 at her home in Manning.
Born July 22, 1935, in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Theron Everette and Janie Pearl Dennis Rogers. She was retired secretary for Bob's Body Shop and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of Manning; a daughter, Betty Jane Spigner Mahoney (Ernie) of Manning; a son, Robert Lee "Robbie" Spigner Jr. (Dianne) of Manning; a brother, Dargan Carlisle Rogers (Patty) of Charleston; a sister, Jan Rogers Hardy (Rubin) of Manning; three grandchildren, Alica Jane Mahoney Adams (Jason) of Irmo, Linwood Ernest Mahoney III (Melissa) of Manning, and James Lee Mahoney of Florence; two great grandchildren, Breanna Lee Brown of Ticonderoga, NY, and McKenzie Kate Mahoney of Manning.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Drew Taylor officiating. Burial followed in Clarendon Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Linwood Ernest Mahoney III, James Lee Mahoney, Donald Wayne Mahoney, Charles Everette Goff, John Kristopher Lindler and Dargan Carlisle Rogers Jr.
Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1794 Old Georgetown Road, Manning, or to the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, 86 Jonathan Lucas Street, Charleston, SC 29425.
