Dear Danny, Melanie, & Tina. Just read with a touch of sadness about your mom's passing. She always made me feel very welcome when I visited your home -- especially considering the racket Danny & I made with our music. And even if I declined a full meal, I always gratefully accepted one of her tasty biscuits! I actually drove by the old home place when I was down that way in March -- wanted to surprise her with a visit -- but I could not find the right house. I'm sure she will be missed by many friends and family. My sympathy goes out to you in your loss of a truly gracious lady.

Danny, Melanie and Tina,
Aunt Essie had a heart of gold and I loved every second I got to spend with her. There's a special place in heaven for her.
Every time that I went to visit Aunt Essie she always had some fruit cake or chocolate cake and stories about Little Nommie when I was little. I believe she helped raise me. You will be missed. My thoughts are with my cousins.
