Larry was our first real friend when we relocated to SC from NY. He took us under his wing and was a perfect gentleman and friend to us when we had no friends, family or contacts in 1999. He found us our house in Sardinia and even co-signed for our FTC account when our credit was shot. When we bought our house he repaired the window on our side door and cut his hand. When my Father died in 2002 he filled our house with food. He was all that Southern Hospitality is supposed to be and never let us down. My wife works at CMH and saw him from time to time after he sold the Chat-N-Chew which was never the same without him. Clarendon County has lost a wonderful man and loyal son. Heaven is surely rejoicing at his arrival. We who are left to carry on would do well to look to his example as a guide for how to live a good and vital life. -Chip

Dear Angie:  I was so saddened to learn that Larry was no longer with us.  He was such a big part of the Town of Turbeville and the surrounding communities.  Everybody knew and respected him.  We will miss him in the days to come but  will always have such fond memories of Larry.
