Alvilder Singletary Robinson - June 22nd, 2010
    


SUMMERTON - Alvilder Singletary "Biddie" Robinson, 88, widow of Harold Richard Robinson, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning.
     Born October 11, 1921, in the Sandy Ridge Community of Berkeley County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence E. Singletary and Flora Lee Myers Singletary. She was a member of Summerton United Methodist Church.
     Surviving are a daughter, Helen Bass of Summerton; a son, Harold M. Robinson and wife, Edna, of Summerton; a brother, Everett Singletary and wife, Christine,  
of Hollywood; two sisters, Hazel S. Rast and husband, Milton, and Valerie Gleason, all of Charleston; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Wayne Robinson.
     Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning with the Revs. Bob Allen and Randy Bowers officiating. Burial was in the Summerton Evergreen Cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Ron Smithwick, Ron Dodson, Ron Cox, Lee Robinson, Freddie Mitchum, and Chris Mitchum.
     Memorials may be made to the Summerton United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 35, Summerton, SC, 29148.
