MANNING - Thomas Lloyd Peterson, 58, husband of Carol Barden Peterson, died at his home on Thursday, June 17, 2010.
Born in Racine, WI, he was the son of the late Glenn R. and Norma E. Wise Peterson. He was a United State Army veteran, employed by the Public Works Department in Sumter, and a member of Manning United Methodist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of Manning, are a stepson, Dr. James V. Green and his wife Jamesia of Bowie, Maryland.
A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010, in Manning United Methodist Church, with Rev. Edward L. Sanders officiating, followed by a visitation in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Animal Shelter of Clarendon County, 5079 Alex Harvin Hwy., Manning, SC 29102.
