I read Ms. DuBose obituary to establish if she was related to Rev. Jerry DuBose a friend a local minister at our Episcopal Church.
After reading Ms. DuBose's obituary, I immediately saw her longevity in life was filled with a lot of service back to her state, community, church and fellow Christians. She was obviously a very giving person and our state is much better place to live because of her.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and you remain in our thoughts and prayers.
May God comfort you in your time of loss.

Dearest DuBose Family,
Please know how much your mother and father have meant to me throughout my childhood! You were so blessed with such wonderful parents and role models. I have always thought that Mrs. DuBose was the prettiest lady in Clarendon County but with age I have realized it certainly came from "within". Please know that you and yours will be in my prayers in the days to come. Earth will seem a little darker without her grace and know that heaven will certainly be brighter!
Always,

Mary, Mama and I just learned of your mother's death today (Monday). We are so sorry to hear this and we both send our condolences and prayers to you and your family. Mama volunteers at the hospital on Mondays and always took your mom her mail. She spoke of how sweet a person she was and how clear her thinking had been. She was shocked to hear the news today. Please know that we are thinking of you at this time.
Love,
Marian

Dear DuBose family,
"Miss Fannie Louise" immediately made me feel welcomed into the Sardinia church family when Kirby and I married. It was always a pleasure to spend a few minutes with her at church! She was a perfect example of a Southern Christian woman, quiet spoken, hospitable and gracious. She was so kind to put up with "the younger ones"! We are all much richer from knowing her.
