I heard about the loss of Alvin when I got in to work today. He was always so pleasant and had really funny stories to share every time I saw him. Every time I saw him and daddy together, I always thought they looked so much alike, so now I will think of Alvin every time I see daddy. Irene, you have been very special to Alvin and to our family. You took such good care of him when he needed you. Thank you for all you did, and you'll always be a "cousin", even if we just run into each other at Walmart! My love and prayers are with each of you. If you all need anything from Sumter, I will be glad to get it to you. I am only a phone call away!

Was so sorry to hear about your loss. Went to school with Alvin and Allen and rode the bus with them all through school.. One was actually our bus driver. I remember them both as special friends and classmates.. Two of the sweetest guys I've ever known. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
