MANNING – Charles Everett Hinsdale, 84, widower of Virginia C. Hinsdale, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning.
Born September, 23, 1925, in Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late Alice Hinsdale. He was a United States Navy veteran of WWII, retired foreman for Spring Mills in Fort Mill, and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are an uncle, Bennett Hinsdale; a sister-in-law, Avie Sloan and her husband Kiss of Ft. Mill; and special friends, the Driggers family and the Ronald Brazzell family.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Little Star Pentecostal Holiness Church in Alcolu.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Unity Cemetery in Fort Mill. He was buried beside his beloved wife, Jenn.
