Sally Shupe was one of a kind..a wonderful lady with a heart that was never empty for someone in need, a laugh that filled the room with electricity, and the energy of 50 stallions. She will be greatly missed by everyone but especially by all of her  Clarendon Memorial family: patients and co-workers.

I was both shocked and saddened when I heard the news of Sally's passing. As a former Sexual Abuse Investigator with the Sheriff's Officer, Sally and I worked closing together handling the Sexual Abuse cases at the Emergency Room.  Not only did she displayed a professional attitude, she performed her duties to the victims with much love and compassion.  We became very close friends throughout the years and I grew to love her. I will miss Sally but I will always remember the lessons of life that she taught me. To her family I hope that you keep her spirit alive by passing on her virtues of life to the next generation. May God keep you in His care.

It is with great sorrow that I write this note but I consider it a privilege to have known Sally. Sally and I were not only co-workers but friends for more than 20 years. Sally loved you, her family, as well as nursing and life in general. One of the most important lessons she taught was to "enjoy life." Sally will be greatly missed and she will remain a dear memory in my life.
